We are honoured to have Sam Latif, Procter & Gamble’s first Company Accessibility Leader, Our Disability Inclusion Inspiration. Sam is a globally recognized voice for disability inclusion and has spent her career driving systemic change within one of the world’s most influential corporations.

Her Story: Born with a rare genetic condition—retinitis pigmentosa—Sam lost 97% of her sight by the age of 16. Yet, she refused to let disability define her limits. Since joining Procter & Gamble in 2000, Sam carved out a successful career in IT before transitioning to accessibility leadership.

Motivated by personal experience, Sam created the Disability Challenge, a groundbreaking internal movement at P&G that helped senior leaders understand the everyday barriers faced by people with disabilities. She also founded internal support networks to amplify lived experiences.

In 2015, she officially pivoted from IT to accessibility full-time, and in 2019, she was promoted to Senior Director, becoming the company’s formal Accessibility Leader—responsible for embedding accessibility across P&G’s 65+ global brands.

A proud first-generation Scottish Pakistani, Sam is a mother of three and lives in Surrey, UK. Her lived expertise, strategic mindset, and commitment to equity makes her a cornerstone of our vision and global impact strategy. We consider Sam a guiding light in our journey.
